Moving between those poles is DJ Petes main source for inspiration, currently resulting in him spicing up his sets with a lot of Dubstep verging on Techno. (Source: ostgut.de/booking) Rasmus Hedlund Rasmus Hedlund is considered as one of the most promising electronic music producers in the Finnish music scene. Having started out years ago, he still develops his own recognizable style towards new borders. Heavily influenced by early techno, electro and idm, he spent the first years of producing learning to sequence on trackers and sampling everything around him. However, it wasn't until a few years later when he decided to move over to hardware, and began collecting vintage analogue gear. It was essential to tweak these old synths, because it really helped him understand the basics of creating sounds. With the constant development of software sequencers, his arsenal of gear soon had to retire except for a few carefully selected items. Production varied over the years from hard monotonous techno to chilled rhythms and finally settling down to somewhere in between it all for his first solo EP release in 2005. Some releases later on different labels, including several for famous german label Resopal Schallware, things have really taken off for Rasmus. You can hear him killing the dancefloors with heavy beats across Europe and be sure to watch out for his upcoming releases. In 2004 to 06, Mike lived and worked in Australia, New Zealand and New York City, gathering experience in live PA performance. In the beginning of 2007 he released the first tracks using his real name Mike Dehnert and at the same time founded his own label "The awesome" Fachwerk Records. With the May 2007 re-opening of Tresor Club in Berlin, Mike Dehnert found himself a member of the Tresor Resident team and now spreadsthe mission of his unique sounding, banging live pa or dj sets all over the world.
